Thankfully I’m not affected by this, nor any of my fellow allotmenteers on our site. But, it seems to be a pretty widespread problem and very upsetting for those affected.
How could this product be allowed to be used?
Our allotment site has been hit by this problem and our experiences described on our website http://www.glallotments.btik.com/p_Contaminated_Manure.ikml
WE are collating as much information here as possible so if anyone reading this has been affected please email us – link from website and ell us about it so we can include your area and experiences on our list of those affected.

Oh no! Where abouts in the country are you? I’m fortunate enough to have missed the timing for digging in of manure when I took over my plot but I could well have been affected otherwise.
I think I would be utterly devastated if it happened to me. Such a long wait for a plot to find I’d not be able to grow on it for another year…..gutting.
