I got to thinking earlier about everyone being able to grow vegetables - wherever they live. Not everyone is blessed with a back garden (let alone acres of land). Some people have a balcony, some dont even have that.

Decent Gardening shoes/wellies

A notebook/diary and pen/pencil
A flask (for tea/water)

A letter was distributed last week by my daughters school. It including a mention of wanting more volunteers for their gardening project. Naturally, I was very keen to find out more and immediately contacted the school to offer help.

Having visited the site back in January, and various phone calls chasing matters, we finally received our tenancy agreements in yesterday’s post. Two agreements for the two plots. Having spent quite some time now sorting out my allotment plot, I finally had the opportunity of tasting one of my own-grown vegetables. I was thinning some radishes, and popped one in my mouth! It had little taste but I put that down to it only being the size of a bean!
