Growing your own veg and herbs, or filling up a window box - everyone can have a go at gardening. It's really not complicated either. As with many things these days, a good place to find information is on the internet, and so I'd like to share what I know.

Well, good luck with your allotment when you get it. If you need any help planning it then you might want to consider our website (www.growveg.com) which helps with orgnaising and rotating the crops. I've been using it for several years now to plan my front garden and, more recently, allotment plot.
Will be interested to hear about your no-dig system since I've tried it but never 100% embraced it. It seems that you can do it 90% by just not walking on the soil and mulching regularly.

I like the sound of no-dig. What I'd really like most is "deckchair gardening" which involves a Mary Poppins style of clicking fingers and bluebirds coming to help with weeding, but I fear this may not happen. Hope the allotment comes through soon.
